All rooms are en-suite with Wi-Fi connected TV, Ruark DAB clock radio and generously stocked tea and coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi and a residents’ lounge is available. Our accommodation is non-smoking.
We provide a locally sourced breakfast including our ever popular home-made organic granola. Packed lunches are available on request.

Buxton is an historic Spa town on the edge of the Peak District National Park and home to Buxton Water. It is famous for the Buxton Festival, the popular Buxton Fringe Festival and has a thriving music and arts scene with events all year round at the Opera House, the Pavilion and many other venues.
We are close to many historic attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and National Trust properties Hardwick Hall and Lyme Park. Poole’s Cavern and Go Ape are within walking distance and the Blue John caves are nearby. Alton Towers is within easy reach.
Buxton is an ideal base for both walkers and cyclists. The Monsal Trail runs from Buxton to Bakewell and the Tissington Trail from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne. Both offer traffic free routes and great scenery. Electric bikes can be hired locally.
We look forward to welcoming you to Griff House B&B Buxton.
