The price includes bed and breakfast. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, cheques, bank transfer, Paym or PayPal transfers. We accept payment by credit or debit card, please note that we charge 2% for transactions involving credit cards, American Express or cards issued by non-UK banks.
Sorry, we do not allow pets at this property.
We welcome children of all ages. Please be aware however that we do not have children so you would need to bring a cot, high chair and anything else young children may require. We do not charge for children using cots.
Cancellation and Insurance
When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances. You may still remain liable to pay in full or in part for the booking, even if you are unable to make use of the room(s). Even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation, you will remain liable for the full cost.
If for some reason you do need to cancel, it is important that you tell us at the first opportunity so that we may attempt to re-let your room and minimise your loss. You may wish to consider taking out cancellation insurance to protect you against possible loss.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms.
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us no later than 6pm to let us know if you will be arriving late. Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-let or the full cost of the room being charged.
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
Griff House is a non-smoking environment. We ask that you use the ash tray provided on the patio.
We offer Wi-Fi access, at no additional cost, to allow you to check your emails and access websites. To assist fair access for all users, we are unable to permit the download of large content.
We do not accept liability for any limitation of service availability.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s) and / or on paper. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
